Lounge Chairs

The Clip Lounge chair features two upholstered elements, a back and a base, connected by a single, visible piece of wood which sits flush with the two upholstered pieces. It gives the impression that these two elements have been clipped together by the wood piece. The wood and the upholstery of the piece can be customized.

&TRADITION Little Petra Lounge Chair - Sahara Sheepskin Walnut Feet - Display Model - Initially introduced back in 1938, Little Petra won instant praise at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers Guild Exhibition, subsequently winning awards at exhibits in New York and Berlin. It's one of just a few designs by architect Viggo Boesen, who became associated with Denmark's signature design aesthetic in the 1930s called funkis style. Little Petra is surprisingly petite, able to fit into all kinds of spaces, interiors and environments. Low to the ground, open and embracing, it embodies the essence of a lounge chair, allowing for all kinds of seating positions in any cosy setting imaginable.

When Massproductions Designer-in-Chief, Chris Martin designed the Dandy in 2015, he asked himself "How do we want to sit?" and "How do we want to move in a room?". The answer to the questions was the Dandy collection. "With Dandy we wanted to encourage playfulness in how we furnish rooms, homes and public spaces. Magnus found a sofa from the 30s at an auction that had a nice rounded shape. We see rectangular sofas everywhere, so we were inspired by this almost forgotten form" says Chris Martin.

As light as a cloud, modern and unconventional: Eden armchair stands out for its playful, casual character. Breaking with tradition, the design does away with a rigid frame and base in favour of expanded polyurethane padding and a technical fabric base sitting directly on the floor for better grip. Piping along all the outer edges embellishes Eden’s soft shapes and gives them greater definition.

Sometimes, the secret lies in simplicity. That is how it is for the renowned Indian naan bread, and so it is for the armchair of the same name, designed by Federica Biasi: a compact, embracing volume with soft, gentle contours. The structure develops from a square base with rounded corners into one single block form, projecting it into the space, with no interruption, creating an inviting volume.

The new seat designed by Cristina Celestino for Pianca unfurls like a flower in Spring. And it is indeed nature, with her perfect geometries, that provides the inspiration for Peonia’s creative genesis. Sculptural and inviting, it captures the eternal becoming of every living thing in its forms; the tension to a constant and inescapable perpetual movement.
