Beam is a sofa side table, perfect for tucking in between the floor and the seat where it serves as a handy storage for drinks, books and accessories. Discreet and elegant.

Contemporary British designer John Astbury wanted to create a side table endowed with a sense of monolithic strength. The result was Tung, a compact piece supported by three curved legs that allude to the architectural presence of ancient pillars.

While designing the collection, we were inspired by the different natural phenomena that appear in our environment. A fascinating example are the different shapes wild mushrooms can take and how they are all soft and elegant in there appearance. We thought these shapes would be ideal to translate into a table collection.
